Let me introduce myself...
Hello, I'm Holly.
My experience with words and grammar and my love for the English language began long ago within the pages of books. Early on, I was especially interested in fantasy and science fiction. I have a great memory of spending the entire summer before seventh grade reading A Wrinkle in Time, The White Mountains trilogy, and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe to my mother. We had just moved to another state, didn't know anyone, and sat through day after day of rainstorms. I will never forget that summer! Since then, my passion for words and language has never subsided.
I had an excellent English teacher who furthered my love of grammar and writing. Because of her, I excelled in advanced grammar, creative writing, technical writing, argumentative writing, revising, editing, and utilizing APA and MLA style guides in college. This experience led me to graduate with a BA in English and writing composition in 2006. My high school English teacher ignited a blazing fire in me to continue my grammar journey and pursue a degree in English. This fire
was never fully extinguished. Throughout my various career paths, I often found myself longing for a chance to return to my roots. So, imagine my excitement when I discovered the Proofread Anywhere course. Enrolling was a no-brainer given my degree, language background, and keen eye for spotting mechanical errors in writing. I signed up for the Proofread Anywhere course in January 2024 and proudly received my certificate of completion in May 2024.
Fast-forward to today—I am proud to say that I am celebrating fifteen years of studying all aspects of grammar, the art of revising, various style guides, and proofreading. I have always been captivated by the power of well-crafted writing and the difference a well-placed comma or corrected typo can make. My extensive language study and proofreading course have equipped me with a solid understanding of language mechanics and an eye for detail.
With my substantial history with language, passion for the written word and grammar rules, proofreading certificate of completion, eye for detail, and genuine enthusiasm for every project, I take pride in helping everyone—content creators, writers, students, authors, publishers, and business professionals—polish their work and present their best selves through clear and flawless communication. For your convenience, I offer four pricing tiers as outlined below. My rates may be subject to change based on genre, a document over 10,000 words, or a rush service.

A 50% deposit and signed contract are required before starting your proofreading project. I accept debit and credit card payments, PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Payments are secure with Wix payments (PCI DSS).
